Madison Synergy Radio Presents the hottest new duo for 2006, ''Kyven.''
With incredible sound, drawing likeness to The Chemical Brothers and
Crystal Method for their intricate tracks, and, a pop sensibility of
Ian van Dahl, Galleon, and Alkazar. With smoothly orchestrated and produced
male vocals, Kyven is a dance/pop collaboration that is over the top!
Kyven {pronounced: k''I''ven} is Kyle Frank and Steven Scott.
After developing friendship and musicianship, long-time friends Kyle and
Steven desired to pursue music together. In the summer of 2004 they
moved to New York to begin writing and recording as Kyven. Inspired by
the pop and electronic music in America and Europe, Kyven set out to
create an engaging sound in the city where American dance and pop music
reign supreme.
It is Kyven's desire to create and perform in a style that moves the mind
and body. Kyle's powerful and poetic lyrics, blend with Steven's rhythmic
grooves and harmonically-rich chord structures, to create a ''synergy'' of
stand-alone melodies and roof-shattering beats.
Vocals recorded and produced by Kyven have been played at Crobar and
Avalon in Manhattan as well as tracks in several area bars, clubs and
lounges. Kyven is currently assembling a live show which will incorporate
pop structure and an energetic mix of tracks from their upcoming release,
In My Mind and their debut album, Part of Love.
